As per media reports the 5th Joint Working Group (JWG) held beweenn Indian Coast Guard(ICG) and Assam Rifles was held today at Head Quarters Directorate General Assam Rifles, Laitkor, Shillong. Lt Gen P C Nair, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, PhD, DG Assam Rifles addressed the Joint Working Group comprising of senior officers from both services. Issues with respect to furthering the cooperation between the two Forces were discussed in the meeting.
