Today, President Ram Nath Kovind has reached Bengaluru for a two-day official visit to the state. President Kovind will participate in the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of the Rashtriya Military School in Bengaluru later in the day. The military school was started by the British in 1946. After today’s inauguration in the presence of the President, the Platinum Jubilee Celebration will go on for three days. Governor Thaawar Chand Gehlot, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, the State Ministers and senior officers from the Armed Forces will be present during the inaugural event.
Tomorrow, President Kovind will grace the Dedication Ceremony of the ISKCON Temple, a Replica of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, at Vaikunta Hill in Bengaluru. The deity in the temple is Rajadhiraja Sri Govinda which means the Lord is the King of Kings. After the event, the President is scheduled to leave for Delhi in the afternoon tomorrow.
