According to Media sources RBI has directed kotak Mahindra bank to halt new credit card issuance and onboarding of new customer through online and its mobile banking mode, with immediate effect. RBI has taken this action due to compliance and risk management practice of the bank. Although this action will not affect the existing customer of the bank as RBI has direct kotak Mahindra bank to continue providing services to its existing customers.
