As per the media reports Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud on Friday arrived in Nepal for a three-day official visit. He became the first CJI to visit the Himalayan nation. Nepali Chief Justice Bishwombhar Prasad Shrestha has invited him. He will meet his Nepalese counterpart during his stay.

As per the reports he also addresses their on a symposium on child rights. The Chief Justice said, ‘While discussing juvenile justice, we have to understand the vulnerabilities and needs of children caught in legal disputes. It is important to understand the nature of juvenile justice and its relationship to the dimensions of society.’ He further said that technologies are developing rapidly. Due to this, international digital crimes involving minors are also increasing. To deal with this, juvenile justice systems will have to increase international cooperation.
