During the interview of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with NTV, PM Modi said “The INDI Alliance did not ‘work out’. They were only able to conduct some rallies. On the first day, Congress leaders are fighting against the Left. They have distrust towards each other. Besides, they were not able to decide on seats, and I don’t see any theme of their poll campaign. As per me, Congress is in bad shape in these elections. The INDI bloc has accepted defeat. They sometimes blame the issue of EVMs.. Their entire research team is trying to find reasons to pin the blame for their defeat in the elections..”
Prime also said “I believe that the current govt of Andhra Pradesh can’t win. The economic condition is bad. Jagan has never been our political ally. We have always fought elections against each other. However, since I’m PM, it is my constitutional responsibility to strengthen the state govt. TDP and BJP were part of the NDA, and now the Jana Sena is also our ally. The response of the people is encouraging, and I believe that we will form the NDA govt. The politics of India is divided into two camps. One is the BJP-led NDA, and the other is the Congress-led INDI Alliance. We believe that the maximum number of regional parties should be kept together. Secondly, national political parties should respect and address regional aspirations. If the regional parties are allies, it becomes easy to fulfil regional aspirations.”
PM Modi said ” I’m seeing all the elements that will make us win in Telangana. Be prepared to witness a miracle in Telangana. I can’t imagine how a political party can let people down in such a short duration. The people gave Congress a mandate, but they failed on every front. Congress benefitted from the people’s anger against the BRS. Congress wasn’t the first choice of the people. The governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have no vision for the states. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana could have benefitted, but both were busy fighting the Centre. Their policies not only drained the exchequer but also led to corruption, leading to the crumbling of the economy.”
PM Narendra Modi also said “BJP will make a clean sweep in Telangana. I see all the elements that will help us win in Telangana. Congress benefitted in the polls from the people’s anger against the BRS. Congress wasn’t the first choice of the people! The policies of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana govts drained the exchequer and strengthened corruption, leading to crumbling of their economies. For the country’s bright future, we need to free India from the disease of corruption. The people of Telangana wiped out the BRS because of the widespread corruption in the state.”
