IMD issues heatwave warning in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab

As per the media reports the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said heatwave conditions will prevail in Delhi and parts of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh for the next three days. Amid the ongoing intense heat, the mercury in the national capital is expected to soar to 45 degrees on Saturday, as per the weather office.

As per the reports according to India Meteorological Department’s forecast the temperature in Delhi NCR is hovering over 40 degrees and could touch 45 degrees on Saturday, maximum temperatures ranged between 40-42°C in various regions, including parts of Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Rajasthan, East Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra & Kutch, and Vidarbha. Additionally, isolated areas in Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, and West Uttar Pradesh also recorded similar temperatures.
