Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweets “Today’s roadshow ended at the Vivekananda Museum, Ramakrishna Mission. This is the ancestral house of Swami Vivekananda. Every Indian is proud of the service initiated by the Mission.”

PM Modi twitted “Feel very blessed to have gone to Mayer Bari, Ramakrishna Math, Baghbazar. This is the place where Holy Mother Sarada Devi stayed for a few years.”

He also tweets “Over the last decade, the Government of India has made many efforts to enhance Kolkata’s progress. A large part of these works relate to connectivity. Just two months ago, projects worth over Rs. 35,000 crore were either inaugurated or their foundation stones were laid.”

PM Modi twitted “For decades, Left and TMC leaders have ignored Kolkata’s progress. TMC has reduced municipal administration to a way of making money. This rampant corruption has affected common citizens. They are fed up of the Left, TMC and Congress. I am confident Kolkata will elect the BJP this time.”

Prime Minister also twitted that “Our relation with Kolkata has deep historical roots. It was from here that Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee began his academic and political career. In the 1950’s he was elected to the Lok Sabha from this city. We want to serve the people of Kolkata and fulfil his vision for the city.”

PM Modi tweets “Before commencing today’s historic roadshow, paid tributes to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in Kolkata. His ideals inspire us greatly and we will keep working to fulfil his vision.”
