New Delhi: Western Coalfields Limited in the first quarter of Current Financial Year 2022-23 have yet again smashed previous records. The company shines brighter with impressive figures in Coal Production, Despatch and Over Burden Removal.
In the First quarter of FY 2022-23, the company shows 37.1% increase in Coal Production to 14.27 Million Tonnes, Coal Despatch increase 11.2% to 18.04 Million Tonnes, Over Burden Removal 14. 7% at 77.91 Million Tonnes.
Wani North area leads the path with 187.8% growth in Coal production as compared to the last year. It is followed by Ballarpur area with 70.7% and Chandrapur area with 62.9% growth.
In an exceptional performance in Over Burden Removal, the Ballarpur area leads with 70.5% growth over previous year. It is followed by Wani North area with 41.4% and Majri area with 32.6% growth over previous year.
Offtake figures are equally impressive. The Pench area achieves the highest growth of 77.2% over previous year. It is followed by Majri area with 60.7% and Wani North area with 27.7%.
