Delhi: On the occasion of 55th Annual day of WAPCOS Ltd. (CPSU, MoJS), Minister of Jal Shakti C.R. Paatil unveiled the New WAPCOS Logo in presence of Dr. Raj Bhushan Choudhary, Minister of State of Jal Shakti, Debashree Mukherjee, Secretary, DoWR RD & GR. R. K. Agrawal, CMD, WAPCOS and other senior officials from Ministry of Jal Shakti and WAPCOS Ltd were also present during this event.
According to the tweet of WAPCOS “In this new logo, the Globe signifies Global footprints of WAPCOS over 75+ countries. Green colour symbolises our commitment for sustainable development in every aspects of our operation through our projects. Water has been central to Ministry of Jal Shakti and WAPCOS and therefore Blue Waves symbolises our pioneering works. The building signifies our presence in infrastructure sector. The electricity sign inside O brings clarity, our leadership position and our aspirations in power”
On this occasion of 55th Annual day of WAPCOS, C.R. Patil Minister of Jal Shakti also released WAPCOS Corporate Coffee Table Booklet and Film. Debashree Mukherjee, Secretary, Rakesh Kumar Verma, Additional Secretary, Anand Mohan, Joint Secretary, and other senior officers of DoWR RD & GR, R. K. Agrawal, CMD, Pankaj Kapoor, Director (Finance), Anupam Chandra, CVO and other senior officers of WAPCOS were also present during the launch ceremony.
CMD, R K Agrawal also shared a message on this occasion. He said “I am delighted that WAPCOS has completed 55 years of memorable and exciting journey of excellence and wish to share my thoughts on his momentous occasion. I acknowledge the tireless efforts of each one in WAPCOS family, who are working with renewed Zeal, focus, and commitment.. WAPCOS achieving top rank amongst Internation Consultants in resent release of Asian Development Bank reflects that core competencies and professional approach are our focus areas.. We sincerely acknowledge with gratitude the exemplary guidance provided by Ministery of Jal Shakti and board of directors. I also conveyed thanks to all the ministries and department of government of India and other stakeholders for their continued cooperation. I wish to make a special mention of our valued clients in India and abroad, who continue to repose trust all the time, and I am sure that we will, most certainly take up many more projects with them in future.
