According to media sources, on the export of mangoes from North India to Europe, the German Ambassador to India Dr Philipp Ackermann says, “I’m very excited because everybody knows how much I like mangoes. And when you go through European supermarkets in Germany or elsewhere, basically the main mangoes you find are from Brazil or West Africa. And I think Europeans deserve to have good mangoes coming from South Asia, from India in particular. So what we have now is indeed the first batch of mangoes from north India. Several varieties of mangoes are coming to Belgium…”
