According to media sources, “Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav says, “We had taken this decision earlier and it has been approved by the cabinet today. We have taken the decision to call all Vice Chancellors ‘Kulguru’ instead of ‘Kulpati’. This becomes even more important, as there is Guru Purnima on 21st July.Several states have asked for copies of this proposal and the basis of forming this law. On the basis of the same, they too will change the name of ‘Kulpati’ in their states.”
He also says, “The other major decision we made was that all vehicles that will be caught under law in relation with cow slaughter, will be impounded and they won’t be released at all. Thirdly, children often fall into borewell. We have decided to take action if open borewell is found, a fine will be slapped and even FIR will be registered.”
