Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Atom Pavilion with President Vladimir Putin. PM Modi tweets “Visited the Atom Pavilion with President Putin. Energy is an important pillar of cooperation between India and Russia and we are eager to further cement ties in this sector.”

PM Modi also tweets “Held productive discussions with President Putin at the Kremlin today. Our talks covered ways to diversify India-Russia cooperation in sectors such as trade, commerce, security, agriculture, technology and innovation. We attach great importance to boosting connectivity and people-to-people exchanges.”

According to the media sources, First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Denis Manturov said, “The level of relations, especially the relations between two leaders can be seen. The main honour that has been awarded to PM Modi is a significant moment in confirmation of the friendship between our countries and between the leaders of our countries. If we are talking about the sectors of the economy, in a wide list of spheres and sectors where we can see the result of cooperation.. A lot of students from India study in Russia, more than 20,000 and especially 14,000 from them in medical universities.. We can say that not only the trade is growing, but all other spheres of activity is also developing and in demand.”
