According to media sources, Jammu-Kashmir high court ordered the UT administration to protect Hindu temples left unattended after the community’s exodus from Kashmir valley in the 1990. As per media sources, High court orders J&K administration to take care of neglected Hindu shrines in Kashmir. The High Court of J&K and Ladakh in its recent order has mandated the administartion to maintain unattended temples and shrines in the valley. Media reports says, The High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on Thursday ordered the Union Territory administration to protect Hindu religious sites left unattended after the community’s exodus from the Kashmir valley in the 1990s, to help preserve their cultural heritage.
