According to Media Sources, A 46-year-old woman lost her life after being hit by a speeding car in the Virar area of Maharashtra’s Palghar district. The deceased has been identified as 46-year-old Atmja Kasat, a teacher at the Utkarsh Junior College. Arnala police has arrested the driver of the Toyota Fortuner identified as Shubham Patil.
According to information, on Thursday evening, Atmaja Kasat was passing in front of Muljibhai Mehta School in Virar West, when a car coming from behind hit her. She sustained serious injuries and was admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Kasat, however, succumbed to her injuries during treatment. The Arnala Sagari police arrested driver Shubham Patil late on Thursday night.
