According to media source,Apple Inc has announced that Kevan Parekh will take over as its chief financial officer (CFO) from January. The Indian-origin executive will replace Luca Maestri as part of a “planned succession” and join the executive team, the Cupertino-based tech giant said. Parekh is now the vice-president of financial planning and analysis at the company.
As per media reports,Parekh had joined the tech firm in June 2013 from Thompson Reuters, where he had served in various positions for four years. Before that, he worked at General Motors for over five years. The electrical engineer holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
