According to media sources, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has extended greetings to all the countrymen on the occasion of Hindi Diwas today. In a social media post, Mr. Shah said all Indian languages are the country’s pride and heritage, and without enriching them, progress is not possible.
Highlighting that the official language Hindi has an unbreakable relationship with every Indian language, Mr. Shah noted that this year Hindi language has completed 75 years as the country’s official language, serving as a medium of public communication and national unity. He further expressed confidence that by embracing all Indian languages, Hindi will continue to contribute towards realising the vision of a developed India.
