The Indian hockey team have been unbeaten in the tournament so far after winning all their games in the group stage. Having defeated China 3-0, Japan 5-1, Malaysia 8-1, Korea 3-1 and Pakistan 2-1.
On the other hand, China lost the first round fixture to India 3-0. They were also beaten by Korea and Japan in the league stage. India are looking for a fifth title, having won in 2011, 2016, 2018, and 2023. Meanwhile, China are aiming for their first-ever title.
