According to media sources, The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast isolated heavy rainfall over several parts of the country during the next few days. Heavy rain is expected in Odisha from tomorrow to Sept 24, and in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura till Sept 26. The weather agency said Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya are also likely to experience isolated heavy rainfall from Sept 23 to Sept 26. Chhattisgarh is also likely to see isolated heavy rain during this period, while Vidarbha and East Madhya Pradesh are expected to receive heavy rainfall from Tuesday to Thursday. Moreover, isolated to scattered light rainfall is likely across West and South Peninsular India over the next three days. Heavy rain is predicted for Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan, and Goa on Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as in the Gujarat Region on the 25th and 26th of this month.
