New Delhi: Central Government employees can expect the second Dearness Allowance (DA) hike of the year according to the reports. It is expected that DA can be increased by 4 percent in August. It can bring a hike of Rs 8000 in the salary of central employees.
However the current DA figure is 34 percent, and it can be increased to 38 percent. According to the sources, employees’ salaries will rise if the government announces an increase in the fitment factor. Currently, they are receiving salaries based on a fitment factor of 2.57 percent.
