According to media source,Apple is reportedly preparing to introduce a new smart home display in 2025, showcasing its commitment to enhancing home automation. This innovative device is expected to run on a new operating system, homeOS, which is based on tvOS, the software driving Apple TV.
As per media reports, Apple’s upcoming smart home display marks a significant step in the company’s renewed focus on home automation. According to reports from The Verge and Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the device is expected to be powered by homeOS, a new operating system based on the existing tvOS used in Apple TV. This system will allow the display to run various Apple applications, including Calendar, Notes, and Home. Notably, the display is also expected to support “Apple Intelligence,” a feature currently absent from the HomePod lineup.
