New Delhi: CMPDI, RI-I, Asansol along with MECL has successfully commenced the exploration of Dewanganj Harinaingha Block at Birbhum, West Bengal on behalf of West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL) after overcoming all the hurdles and with the active support and Prolonged efforts from the district administration on July 14, 2022.
The Inaugration of the block was done by Shri Sontu Tarafdar, Deputy Magistrate, Birbhum and Shri Amlesh Kumar, Advisor Mining, WBPDCL in the presence of the Shri Irshad Ahmad, Regional Director, RI-I, Shri Trishit Ghosh, HOD (Exploration), RI-I along with other officials from CMPDI, RI-1, Asansol.
Officials from WBPDCL along with Shri Bidhan Ray, District Magistrate, Birbhum; Shri N N Tripathi, Superintendent of Police, Birbhum, BLRO and OC were also present on this occasion.
