According to Media Sources, Border Security Force (BSF) troops, in collaboration with Punjab police, recovered one packet of suspected heroin at village Dal in Punjab’s Tarn Taran district, said BSF on Saturday. Based on information from the BSF intelligence wing about the presence of narcotics in the border area of district Tarn Taran, an extensive search operation was launched in the suspected areas. The search culminated at about 1:00 pm on Saturday with the recovery of a 568-gramme packet of suspected heroin, said BSF in a press release.
As Per Media Sources, The narcotics were wrapped with yellow and white adhesive tape and an improvised metal wire loop was found attached to the packet. This recovery took place in a farming field in village Dal, said the release.
