According to media sources, Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat urged the youth to become cultural ambassadors. Addressing the Viksit Bharat Ambassador Yuva Connect programme in Navi Mumbai, he said that India is a point of attraction for many global tourists. Mr Shekhawat also asked the youth and student community to be the bearers and protectors of the country’s culture, traditions, and values. He said that now is the time and opportunity to contribute towards nation-building to bring about Viksit Bharat, which will be a true homage to our freedom fighters. Mr. Shekhawat emphasized that today India is the third-largest economy in the world and that the youth have largely contributed to taking the country forward.
