Maharashtra Launches India’s First Integrated State-Level Cyber Command and Control Center

According to media sources, The Maharashtra government has launched India’s first integrated state-level Cyber Command and Control Center, equipped with world-class technology and expertise. The facility, located at Mahape in Navi Mumbai, was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis. During the inauguration, Mr Fadnavis emphasized that Maharashtra has set a new benchmark in providing a world-class platform to combat cybercrimes using cutting-edge global technologies and highly skilled cyber experts. He stated that this initiative ensures the timely resolution of cybercrimes and assures digital safety for citizens, enterprises, and critical infrastructure.

The command and control center will serve as a comprehensive hub for handling grievances through multiple channels, including a helpline, web portal, and mobile app. The Nodal Cyber Police Station and 50 district cyber police stations will use the center’s resources to investigate citizen and enterprise complaints.

This center is equipped with a platform that integrates over 50 global forensic technologies, 17 threat intelligence tools, and 13 cybersecurity tools leveraging AI and blockchain technologies. It also employs more than 150 experts in cybercrime forensics, investigation, and technology, supporting the work of 50 district cyber police stations across the state.
