According to media sources, The Election Commission of India today announced the schedule for Maharashtra and Jharkhand Assembly polls. 288 assembly seats of Maharashtra will go to polls in a single phase on 20th of November. Polling for 81 assembly seats of Jharkhand will be held in two phases on 13th & 20th November. By elections for 48 assembly seats and 2 Lok Sabha seats across 15 States will also be held on 13th and 20th of November. The counting of votes will take place on 23rd November.
