Talking to the media, Mr. Chouhan said that the government has launched a mini kit to provide better seeds to the farmers for better production. He added that a program named Adhunik Krishi Chaupal will soon be launched, and it will feature farmers as well as scientists, bringing science to farmlands.

He added that the farmers have benefitted from the reduced export duty of onions from 40 percent to 20 percent.
