Haryana Health Department Intensifies Surveillance Amid Rising Dengue Cases

According to media sources,  In Haryana, the health department has increased surveillance in view of the increasing dengue cases in the state. Dengue larvae are being eliminated by visiting homes. Director General of the Health Department, Dr Kuldeep Singh in interaction with Akashvani News said that till now a total of 98 thousand NS1 tests have been done to detect dengue.

 

Dr Kuldeep said, more than 10 lakh rapid tests have been done, so far. Dr Kuldeep told that till now one lakh three thoysand houses have been challaned on finding dengue larvae. He has appealed to the people not to let water stagnate in coolers, tyres and other useless items and to wear full sleeve clothes.
