New Delhi: AAI’s Chennai airport and Kolkata airport airports are equipped with a newly added 6×6 Fire Rescue Stair vehicle designed to accommodate rapid evacuation of passengers from wide-bodied aircraft.
The newly added machine has numerous facilities including emergency lighting, beacons, water tanks, foam tanks, and hose reels in case of emergency.
The rescue vehicle is capable of operating on all terrains, tropical climate zones, and higher temperatures which serve as a plus point during emergency situations on different terrains.
