New Delhi: Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Shri Hardeep Singh Puri reviewed India’s investment in overseas assets with a view to achieving PM Modi’s target of energy independence by 2047.
The Prime Minister’s vision of becoming ‘energy independent’ by 2047, leading to boost electric mobility, a gas-based economy, doping ethanol in petrol, and a Hydrogen production hub.
The Minister in the meeting said, Given our thrust to increase E&P, underscored the importance of aligning our investment strategy to access equity oil & diversifying India’s crude oil supply.
He further added this will also strengthen the foothold of our companies in these countries, further opening business avenues & reinforcing our bilateral energy bridges.
