According to media sources, The rates of commercial LPG has been cut by 14 rupees 50 paise. Now the 19-kg cylinder will cost one thousand 804 rupees in Delhi, one thousand 756 rupees in Mumbai, one thousand 911 rupees in Kolkata and one thousand 966 rupees in Chennai. The rate of cooking gas used in domestic households, however, remained unchanged at 803 rupees per 14.2-kg cylinder. The price of Jet fuel or Aviation Turbine Fuel has been reduced by 1.5 per cent (1,401 rupees 37 paise per kilolitre) in the national capital. The Aviation Turbine Fuel price in Mumbai has been reduced to 84 thousand 511 rupees 93 paise from 85 thousand 861 rupees.
State-owned Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited revise prices of Aviation Turbine Fuel and cooking gas on the first of every month based on the average price of benchmark international fuel and foreign exchange rate.
