According to media sources, The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dense fog conditions during the night and early morning hours of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim tomorrow. Similar conditions are also predicted in isolated pockets of Uttar Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Coastal Odisha, and Bihar during the next 2-3 days. According to IMD, light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms is expected over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya for the next two days. IMD also predicted a rise in temperature of 2-4 degrees Celsius over Northwest, Central, and East India during the next four days.
