According to media sources, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that the state government will provide an additional bonus of 10,000 rupees to the sanitation and health workers, who continuously provided their services in the Maha Kumbh. The Chief Minister interacted with the sanitation, health, bus operators, and policemen associated with the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj today. Mr Yogi also honoured the employees who made the Maha Kumbh a success. He announced that 16,000 rupees per month would be given to the sanitation and health workers who do not receive the minimum wage. This amount will be sent to their accounts through DBT.
The Chief Minister also announced an additional bonus of 10,000 rupees for the drivers operating the roadway buses during the Maha Kumbh. Shri Yogi said that boats will be provided to the sailors under a scheme from the Chief Minister’s fund. For this, each sailor will be registered, and they will also receive security insurance of 5 lakh rupees and health insurance of 5 lakh rupees.
