According to media sources, The Indian Meteorological Department has forecast light and moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds over Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during the next two to three days. IMD has said that similar conditions are expected over Arunachal Pradesh till the 9th of this month. The weatherman has said that strong surface wind speeds ranging from 20 to 30 kilometres per hour are expected to persist over the plains of northwest parts of the country in the next 24 hours.
The weather agency has said that there will be a gradual fall in maximum temperatures by two to three degree celsius over Central India and Gujarat Region during next 24 hours The met department has also advised fishermen to not venture near the Gujarat coast due to squally conditions over there.
