According to media sources, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has asserted that India’s fight against terrorism is not just a matter of security; it has now become a part of the national defence doctrine.

Addressing the air warriors at the Bhuj Air Force Station in Gujarat today, the Defence Minister said, India will root out this hybrid and proxy warfare.

Mr Singh emphasised that the current ceasefire means that India has kept Pakistan on probation based on its behaviour. The defence minister also made it clear that Operation Sindoor is not yet over. Mr Singh also called upon the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to reconsider providing financial assistance to Pakistan, as it has again started to rebuild its terror infrastructure.

Later in the day, Mr Singh visited the Smritivan museum and paid tributes to those who lost their lives in the 2001 Bhuj earthquake. After his visit, the defence minister said the Smritivan Museum in Bhuj is not only a matter of pride for India but for the world. He urged citizens to visit the memorial, envisioned under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
