New Delhi: Airports Authority of India signed MoU with Sweden’s LFV Air Navigation Services for the rapid development of next-gen smart airports & to build sustainable transportation.
The MoU was signed between AAI & Sweden’s LFV, which provides air traffic management and air navigation services at several locations in Sweden and internationally.
M. Suresh, Member (ANS), AAI, and Magnus Corell, Dy Director General from LFV Sweden signed the MoU. According to the MoU, AAI, and LFV, both Government agencies of India and Sweden shall jointly collaborate on Air Traffic Management, Air Traffic Control, Remote Airport Management, and Traffic Control, Airspace Design, Planning and Infrastructure, Digitalized Airport and Aviation and other fields.
On the occasion of the MoU signing between AAI and LFV, Sh. Sanjeev Kumar, Chairman, AAI thanked both the Government of India and Sweden for taking this collaborative initiative towards strengthening the nation’s effort to develop an efficient, safe, secure and sustainable aviation sector.
He expressed his confidence that the mutual exchange in civil aviation between AAI and LFV Sweden will help in enhancing AAI’s capabilities and next-gen technologies for providing safe and secure aviation operations.
