According to media sources, In Bihar, five devotees lost their lives when their vehicle met with an accident in the Shahkund police station area of Bhagalpur district. The City Superintendent of Police of Bhagalpur informed Akashvani News that three people died on the spot in the late-night accident, while two others succumbed to their injuries during treatment. The accident occurred on the Shahkund-Sultanganj road when the devotees were on their way to Sultanganj to fetch holy Ganga water in view of the last Somvari (Monday) of the Savan month. The speeding vehicle carrying the devotees skidded off the road and fell into a ditch.
