Schools, Colleges, Universities Closed in 6 Kashmir Districts Amid Adverse Weather

According to Media Sources, All educational institutions, including Schools, Colleges, and Universities, to remain closed today in the 6 districts of the Kashmir region. These districts include Anantnag, Kulgam, Pulwama, Shopian, Budgam and Srinagar. The decision was taken by the authorities as a precautionary measure in view of adverse weather conditions. Meanwhile, the administration is monitoring the situation closely and advises the people to stay alert and adhere to advisories of the Met Dept.

As Per Media Sources, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir region.  Almost all mobile and landline telephone services have been completely suspended since yesterday afternoon in view of incessant rains and adverse weather conditions in the Kashmir region.  The traffic on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NHW) remains suspended for the second consecutive day today.
