According to media sources, Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan extended his greetings to everyone on the occasion of Durga Puja. In a social media post, Mr. Radhakrishnan said that this festival symbolises the victory of good over evil.
He further stated that it reminds everyone to take a pledge to fight against the evils that exist in society to achieve the goal of a financially strong, socially inclusive, and morally empowered India. He prayed that Maa Durga bestow happiness, good health, and prosperity upon everyone. He also added that Maa Durga will fulfil everyone’s wishes and remove all evil from society.
