According to media sources, The India Meteorological Department has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Saurashtra, Kutch, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathawada for next two days. Similar conditions are also expected over parts of Northeastern India, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the next two to three days. The weather agency further predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds over the Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Telangana, West Bengal, Sikkim and Andaman and Nicobar Islands till tomorrow. Meanwhile, Delhi NCR witnessed heavy rainfall today.
