According to media sources, the government has redeveloped 172 railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, as informed by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in Lok Sabha today. He stated that 1,337 stations have been identified for development under this scheme.
According to media reports, the minister explained that master plans are being prepared for phased implementation, including improved access roads to stations, waiting rooms, toilets, seating and drinking water facilities, parking areas, and amenities for the differently-abled.
