New Delhi: In a landmark move, Chairman, IndianOil, Mr S M Vaidya, announced Indian Oil’s resolve to accelerate the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program by implementing the ‘Tuberculosis Mukt IndianOil Family Policy’ across IndianOil locations.
The ‘Tuberculosis Mukt IndianOil Family Policy’ will focus on screening the entire IndianOil workforce for Tuberculosis, creating awareness and capacity building. IndianOil Family aims to achieve the coveted ‘TB Mukt Indian Oil’ milestone by 2025.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr S M Vaidya said, “IndianOil is a mini India, complete with diverse cultural threads and multitudes. Thus a TB Mukt IndianOil will be a significant step towards achieving the national aspiration of a TB Mukt Bharat. I would also urge the IOCians and their family members to come forward and support the movement by becoming ‘Ni-kshay Mitras’ under the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan”.
Mr Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra, Director(HR), IndianOil, said, “IndianOil has drawn up a detailed action plan for implementation for achieving TB Mukt Indian Oil Parivar. We will collaborate closely with Central TB Division to strengthen India’s fight against TB.”
