PM Modi held talks with EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in New Delhi today.

PM Modi tweeted “Delighted to hold talks with President of European Commission Ursula von der Leyen earlier today. We reviewed the full range of India-EU ties including economic and cultural linkages.”

In reference of this meeting European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen also tweeted “Strengthening the partnership is a key priority for this decade. We will step up cooperation in trade, technology and security. This is why I’m pleased that Narendra Modi and I will establish anTrade and Technology Council. The EU is India’s 3rd most important trade partner and one of its main investors. And we can do so much more. Our teams will soon begin negotiations on trade and investment agreements.”
