GAIL is organising a series of specialised entrepreneurial workshops for the spouses of employees at work stations in Pata & Vijaipur as part of the GAIL-ABHA initiative. These workshops provide a unique platform for spouses of GAIL employees to learn the basics of entrepreneurship from industry experts and help building ideas into business opportunities. The interactive sessions provide an opportunity to the participants to discuss their innovative ideas with the experts and receive instant feedback as well. First round of these workshops were recently held at two major townships one at Pata and another at Vijaypur in the mentorship of Prof. Thillai Rajan of IIT Madras.
GAIL-ABHA is the first of its kind initiative in the industry to generate awareness among the spouses of employees about the start-up environment and provide mentorship, training and assistance with the necessary tools to begin their own ventures. To start with, this initiative has been launched at GAIL, Pata & Vijaipur and being driven by Gas Training Institute (GTI) Noida in association with the two biggest Work Centers of GAIL.
