Goa Chief Minster Pramod Sawant said that Goa and Maharashtra agreed on multiple issues on repairs and maintenance of canals. In a Tweet, Goa CM Pramod Sawant said, “Joined the 6th Interstate Control Board Meet of Tillari Irrigation Project in the presence of Maharashtra CM Shri Eknath Shinde, Dy CM Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Goa WRD Minister Shri Subhash Shirodkar and Board Members in Mumbai.”
He further said, “Goa and Maharashtra agreed on multiple issues on repairs and maintenance of canals. The pending matter of rehabilitation of 22 families will be resolved & Rs. 5 Lakhs will be paid to every family after due process.”
