REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSE under the @MinOfPower in its Board meeting held on 24.06.2023 in Bengaluru has approved financial assistance to the extent of ₹ 3,045 Crore for Phase-II works of Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL). REC has been spearheading funding for infrastructure development apart from its core business operations of funding power sector development in the country.
