Power Finance Corporation (PFC) becomes the first member from India to join the prestigious Asia Transition Finance Study Group (ATFSG). Today, Official Twitter Account of Ministry of Power tweeted, “PFC has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first member from India to join the prestigious Asia Transition Finance Study Group (ATFSG).”
Ministry of Power said that the announcement of PFC’s membership in ATFSG was made during a Bilateral Ministerial Meeting between Mr. R. K. Singh, Minister of Power and New & Renewable Energy, and Mr. Yasutoshi Nishimura, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan, on the sidelines of the G20 Energy Transitions Ministerial Meeting in Goa.
Ministry of Power also said that as a prominent member of ATFSG, PFC will play a pivotal role in representing India’s perspective and interests while actively contributing to the development of policy considerations for effective Energy Transition Financing.
