Government of Arunachal Pradesh signed MoA with Hydro Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) under the Ministry of Power. Yesterday, Official Twitter Account of Ministry of Power tweeted, “The Government of Arunachal Pradesh signs Memorandums of Agreement (MoA) with Hydro Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) under the Ministry of Power for the development of 12 stalled Hydro Electric Projects in the State.”
In a series of tweet, Ministry of Power said, “The MoA was signed between Govt of Arunachal Pradesh and NEEPCO, NHPC Limited & SJVN Limited in the presence of Hon’ble Minister of Power, Shri R.K. Singh, Shri Pema Khandu, Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, and Shri Chowna Mein, Dy. Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh. The total installed capacity of these 12 projects will be more than 11.5 GW. This synergy will drive the development of state’s hydroelectric potential and propel India towards its goal of NDC target by 2030. An estimated ₹1,26,500 crores will be invested in the state, creating huge employment opportunities, infrastructure growth, and boosting local economy. These projects will also accelerate infrastructure development and industrial development in the region.”
