Today, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Mansukh Mandaviya addressed the inaugural session of G20 Health Ministers’ Meeting along with WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and Katsunobu Kato, Minister of Health, Labour, and Welfare of Japan.
Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya elaborated on India’s G20 health priorities and need to create a healthier tomorrow that is equitable and resilient. He said India prioritized Health Emergencies Prevention, Preparedness and Response placing emphasis on the One Health approach. He also thanked G20 members for their support in designing the Global Initiative on Digital Health.
