Delhi: Today, on 24th August, Vivek Agnihotri’s directed film ‘The Kashmir Files’ has won the Nargis Dutt award for Best Feature Film at the 69th National Award.

According to the media sources, director Vivek Agnihotri said “I am in America and got the news in the morning that ‘The Kashmir Files’ has won the 69th National Award for Best Feature film, it is the most prestigious award in our country. I have always said that this film is not only my film, but it is a film of all the Kashmiris, who has been victims of terrorism in the Vallay. I dedicated this award to all the victims of terrorism.”

Union Minister for I&B and Youth Affairs & Sports, Anurag Thakur congratulates Vivek Agnihotri via his tweet that “Today, as ‘The Kashmir Files’ receives the National Award for Best Film on National Integration, we’re reminded of the poignant tales it narrates. This film, with its heart-wrenching storytelling, sheds light on the untold stories from the Valley, echoing the pain, resilience, and hope of its people. Congratulations to Vivek Agnihotri ji and the entire team for crafting a cinematic masterpiece that touches the soul and makes us reflect deeply.
