According to the media sources, An MoU has been signed between Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment and National Safai Karamcharis Finance & Development Corporation for the fiscal years 2023-24 and 2024-25.
Strategic partnership aims to enhance the socio-economic upliftment of Safai Karamcharis, Manual Scavengers, Waste Pickers & their dependants focusing on empowering these marginalized communities across the nation.
